The Show

Performers International Productions have been performing in the UK and Europe  with their latest show ‘The Show must go on’. This show has been thrilling audiences with its quickfire review of shows from the last 100 years of musicals.

An International Company

Performers International Productions have been performing internationally. Recently taking ‘The Show must go on’ to the Teatro Municipal Balthazar Dias in Funchal, Madeira. As well as the Puppet Theatre, Norwich.

Chris trained as a History Teacher before training at the London School of Musical Theatre and from there performed as “Levi” and the “Baker” in Bill Kenwright’s national tour production of “Joseph and his Technicolor Dreamcoat” for over two years.On returning to Norfolk, Chris completed his teacher training and has taught Drama and History in local schools across Norfolk – from Kings Lynn to Lowestoft.Whilst at Northgate High School in Dereham, Chris began his directing career, directing Little Shop of Horrors. From there Chris has led many workshops and most recently has been employed to direct musicals and workshops with Dereham Operatic Society including Hairspray, Grease and Rock of Ages. Most recently, Chris successfully directed his first professional show in Madeira, a collaboration with  Teresa Gedge and  MADS. This is the  show  that he is  now bringing bring to the UK.In March 2018, Chris and his writing partner Michael Stoker, will bring their first collaboration, the musical “Sicarius” to the Maddermarket stage. This will be the first show that Chris has co-written and produced, with the hope of developing it further and taking it to  either the Edinburgh or London fringe.

Has worked professionally as an Actress –  Musical Theatre Performer for over ten years in the UK, Europe and the West end.  She has also worked in Film and Television. She has played parts such as Cosette in Les Miserable, Cunegonde in Candide, Lady Churchill in Churchill the Musical, principle boy and girl in panto, and has been an  invited singer and Lead Vocalist for functions in London, the Uk and Madeira,  singing with Orchestra’s such as the Norwich Pops Orchestra, Orquestra Clássica da Madeira and  the Empress Sisi Orchestra. Sarah and Chris met playing Laurie and Curly in Oklahoma with Norfolk and Norwich Operatic Society (a few years ago…) they stayed in contact even meeting up in Scarborough when Chris was in Joseph and Sarah was in panto. More recently they both worked in Madeira, Uma Historia de  Amor as part of the 600 year celebrations. Both of them had ideas about working together, bringing actors they had worked with as performers  to put on a show. So began the story of The Show Must Go on – with a few working titles along the way but from now onwards known as  – The Show Must Go on – The Musical Theatre Story.
